Thank you to Huron St. Peter's 8th grade and Vermilion St. Mary's 6th grade for joining the Flyer family for a day. The students were able to tour the campus, eat lunch with current Norwalk Catholic students, learn about self-defense in our law enforcement class, what it means to be a Flyer and saw what junior high and/or high school will look like wherever their roads lead them. Thank you! We hope to see you again soon!

Winter Sports Senior Spotlight Presley Stang - Girls Basketball Most Influential Coach - Coach Riley is by far the most influential coach to me without a doubt. The reason for this is because of the positive energy she displays and the smile she constantly wears on her face at every practice and game. At practice, Coach Riley is always willing to accommodate in drills when we have odd numbers and will always partner up with the person who doesn't have one. When times are challenging, she always provides encouragement and reminds us what we are capable of doing. Along with that, Coach Riley is a kindhearted person. In particular, she checks in on each one of us individually to see how we are doing. Her coaching style is very motivating which is why I believe she gets the best out of her players. I know I can always count on her for anything and can always go to her for help. Coach Riley is such a light in my life and is the true definition of an amiable and upbeat person. I am truly grateful for her. Her character is what I aspire to mimic. Best memory from their winter sport - My favorite memory from basketball is when we faced Monroeville in the MAC. At the time, Monroeville had possession of the ball and we were down 49-46 with little time left on the clock. Moments later, I swished a three which put it 49-49 to tie up the game. This is my favorite memory because of the shift in energy that came from the Lady Eagles to the Lady Flyers. The crowd went crazy. The noise I heard and excitement I saw from my teammates on and off the court gave me chills. This is a memory I will never forget. If you could be any superhero, who would you be? Why? - If I could be any superhero I would want to be either Hulk because of the mighty strength he possesses or superman because of the many other abilities he has that Hulk doesn't. Favorite part of being a Flyer? - My favorite part of being a Flyer is the family history I am apart of. I am blessed to carry on this family tradition as a fourth generation student to attend St. Paul. With that being said, I am extremely grateful to be a Flyer and to attend St. Paul. I am especially grateful to attend a Catholic school, the small and private aspect of it, the good education I receive, the sports programs I am apart of, and the safe environment it provides.

Winter Sports Senior Spotlight Brooke Houck - Girls Basketball Most Influential Coach - Coach Mahl is the most influential coach for me because she makes it known that she believes in me and the team and pushes us to be our best. Best memory from their winter sport - One of my best memories during my winter sport is getting pumped up in the locker room with music before playing a game. If you could be any superhero, who would you be? Why? - I would be Wonder Woman because I would have superhuman strength and speed as well as the ability to fly. Favorite part of being a Flyer? - My favorite part about being a Flyer is having such a participating class that gets along well. It is nice to see my classmates support each other at sporting events and I have fun doing so as well.

St. Paul High School students in the History of Rock and Roll class journeyed to Cleveland today to experience the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They were able to explore artifacts from musicians/artists who have shaped rock and roll over time in the museum, as well as the names of the inductees who have been memorialized over the years as influential in rock and roll music. Long Live Rock!
